I created this natural collage this week. It's made with a recycled picture frame and more of those natural elements , I've been gathering on my hikes. I love the way it looks , many textures and natural colors.
It hangs in my bathroom , hope the moisture in there will keep the mosses green. I enjoy creating with natural elements , this is definitely one of my favorites.

I really like this. What is
ReplyDeletethat round spike plant? It's
off a tree but what kind? I
see them around here too.
One time I brought in bugs
with the acrons. So I started
putting them in a low oven to
get rid of anything that might
try to hatch.
Flassie , Those spiny balls are from the Sweet Gum Tree , we call them sweet gum balls around here.
ReplyDeleteYou can kill the little critters in the oven or put everything in plastic bags and freeze for a couple of weeks.

OH, Thanks for the freezer tip. That sounds much better to do than putting in the oven.
ReplyDeleteSweet Gum Balls. Mmmmm. Are they
edible? Don't know if I'd want to
try one though. LOL! Spiky as they are.
God Bless You and Yours!!!
I guess it depends on how quickly you want to use your woodland finds , you can use the microwave , even quicker process.
ReplyDeleteFlassie , I don't think they're edible , although the name sounds yummy (LOL).
