  1. There looks like other
    nesting boxes to lay eggs.
I wonder why it is that they
    all want that one perticular
spot to lay their eggs? lol!

Wow, 14qts and 110 eggs! Awesome!

    What does Perilla taste like?

    God Bless You and Yours!!!

  2. Lovely beans - I haven't canned anything for a long time - usually I freeze things, and now that I have the vacuum bag seal-a-meal the things last forever in the freezer - or at least until we eat them.

Not much going on at our "homestead" - we got the window AC installed yesterday - and today I decided I want to buy a Fairy Rose (unrelated topics) - I had a row of them down the driveway in CA and want at least one here.

  3. Love those hens. It sure would be nice to walk at the hen house and bring in a few fresh eggs... maybe one day.

  4. Flassie ~ We have 3 nesting boxes , but they only use 2. They always prefer the one were a hen has already laid (LOL).

Perilla has a distinctive smell and flavor , it doesn't taste like anything I've ever tasted. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I'll keep trying it on different foods to see if I develop a taste for it.

    JoAnn ~ I've never seen a " Fairy Rose " , I need to goggle them.

Hi Vickie ~ I'm enjoying the walk to the coop for fresh eggs everyday , it's a wonderful feeling. Hope you get hens soon too.
