~ Sid the Science Guy ~

Curious J 's kindergarten class held their " Awards Day " ceremony yesterday. They started the ceremony singing a song for their Mom , then they sang a song for their Dad and sang another song for their grandparents , they were so cute. All of the kids received an award , Curious J and another boy in his class were awarded the " Sid the Science Guy " award. The teacher said these 2 boys knew a little something about everything and could tell you alot about animals (LOL).
We watched a video that featured the kids doing classroom activities during the year. Afterwards , refreshments were served and we made a family tree using our handprints.

Curoius J's Dad drawing his hand for the family tree.

Curious J adding a finishing touch to his handprint.

Curious J enjoying refreshments and his Mom cutting out the tree trunk.

It was a fun day , we all enjoyed the ceremony and I loved making the family tree. I forgot to take a pic of the finished tree , but it was a really neat idea and will be a family treasure.
