I bought a pkg of CFL bulbs , before I realized they contained mercury. Please read this blog ~ http://doing-it-naturally.blogspot.com/2009/03/compact-fluorescent-lamps-cfls.html , she has alot of info about these bulbs and why we should reconsider using them.
I will not purchase anymore , I'll save energy by keeping the lights turned off , unless I actually need them. I for one , don't believe there is a safe way to dispose of them , sooner or later they will harm the environment . I see no reason to save energy , but create another problem in the future. Do you think everyone will dispose of CFL's properly?
Hopefully , there will be a better solution in the future. What are your thoughts about CFL's?

I'm with you on this one!!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, we bought some too and what if they break? Mercury is more posionous then lead.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know they still use mercury in fillings. Less but still use something that is poisonous to people.
That might be a reason for health issues in some people and even mentel illness.
God Bless You and Yours!!!
