Hi Joyce Ann,Looks like fun!Have a great wk.Blessins',Lib
Sweet! Thanks for the Dandilion Jelly Link Tip!I put a link up on my blog to itand your link to your blog entry about the Violet Jelly.Do you gather blooms at the hotest part of the day?I went for a walk where I was going to pick the dandelions and there was a mower there that had cut the grass. So, I'll either have to find another spot or wait till everything grows back again.God Bless You and Yours!!!Happy Spring!!!
Flassie , I usually pick midday if possible , sometimes it late afternoon , depending on the blooms. Dandelion blooms need to be picked early in the day , they start closing up in the evening. They'll grow back quickly , just gave them a day or two. I think you need about 2 cups of blooms to make jelly. I will probably make some dandelion jelly next week.~ Spring Blessings ~ JoyceAnn
