We've been eating many homegrown salads lately , they sure are yummy. I had 3 out of 6 cauliflowers that did really well , this one measured about 8 inches wide. Last year I tried to grow cauliflower but it didn't head at all , so I'm really proud of this one.

This was the first year I grew romaine lettuce and I've been really pleased with it. I'll definitely grow more next year. I've actually been considering building a greenhouse , we could probably grow lettuce all winter in our climate.

We're about to finish up the radishes , they've added a little zing ...... to the salad bowl.

A few small kale leaves and leaf lettuce mix rounded out this salad. Ummm ~ so good !

Lovely garden produce - nothing is even growing yet here in the Pacific Northwest - at least not in our area - still in the mid to low 50s and rain almost every day. Better than tornadoes and floods though.
Looks yummy. I love crunchy green leafy veggies and I also love them in my smoothies. WOW, that cauliflower is amazing. I've never grown these and I would suspect they would do better in my coldframe seeing the cool weather and short season we have around here. This year in my new coldframe I have broccoli (I never know how to spell that word) growing and doing well.
That looks so good. I've been so busy with work and sick goats I haven't even had a chance to clean my garden off. My dad finally mowed it yesterday. Isn't that sad?
