I'm pretty excited about the Frida Kahlo art swap. I had read something about her at Violette's Creations. She was discussing the famous mexican artist , her unibrow and her self portraits. But , I never took the time to look at her art.
When Pam suggested this swap , I decided it was time to research her art. Turns out she was a very interesting lady. Her art is somewhat disturbing and sad , but so was her life.
I've really enjoyed learning about her and hope to see the movie soon. Yesterday I did a sketch , a self portrait of her. I'm not very good at portraits , but I tried. Well , I was going to post the sketch , but the batteries are low in my camera. So I will post it tommorrow.
Thanks Pam for hosting this swap. I'm really looking forward to seeing the art it brings forth.

Hmmmm. I really like your ATC's especially how you put them on little sticks with yarn for hanging. I'm not too sure about ol' Frida. I might force myself to do it. I'm still thinking.....
I like the portraits you have here. Very good.
